What is BE SHORT NOW! about?

BE SHORT NOW! is a series of industry events, meetings, panels, talks, keynotes, masterclasses focusing on short films and their festival ecosystem.

BE SHORT NOW! was founded in 2018 by the Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón (Spain) and Torino Short Film Market (Italy) and it is developed in collaboration with Encounters Festival (England, UK), FILMFEST DRESDEN (Germany), Glasgow Short Film Festival (Scotland, UK), GO SHORT (The Netherlands), Short Waves Festival (Poland) and VIENNA SHORTS FESTIVAL (Austria).

The BE SHORT NOW! initiative aims to tackle and investigate distinctive topics peculiar of the short film industry and to share the knowledge with the largest audience possible, making these information available on internet for free in the form of video recordings, audio podcasts and written articles.
